Niat Keramas Puasa Ramadhan

Ramadhan is a holy month that is eagerly awaited by all Muslims around the world. One of the mandatory activities during fasting in Ramadhan is performing ablution or wudhu before performing the prayer or salat.

Ablution is a mandatory religious activity that must be carried out by Muslims before prayer or doing any kind of worship. Ablution includes washing hands, mouth, nose, face, arms, head, and feet with pure water. This action is one of the ways to purify oneself before performing prayers.

To better understand how to properly perform ablution during the fasting month of Ramadhan, we need to first understand the intention or niat of ablution. By having the right intention, our ablution becomes complete and purifies us to perform our prayer.

Niat is our intention to perform a prayer or any kind of worship. It is an important part of ablution which should be kept in mind before performing it. Niat or intention should be in our mind and heart even before we begin to perform ablution.

For example, to perform ablution for the purpose of performing the prayer, our intention should be like this: "Nawaitu al wudhu’a li a-hadu la ilaha illallah, wahdahu la syarika lah, wa nawaitu la salata (or other activities like fasting) al maghribi (for example) ridla Allahi ta’ala wa al thawab bihi ".

This means: "I intend to do ablution to please Allah, and I intend to offer/make the prayer of maghrib to please Allah and for the sake of Allah’s reward".

By performing ablution with the right intention in mind, the act becomes more meaningful and valuable.

During Ramadhan, ablution is even more important because it helps us to purify ourselves before performing the Taraweeh prayer (special prayer performed in Ramadhan after Isha prayer).

In fact, performing ablution is one of the ways to increase our spiritual level during Ramadhan. Allah Almighty has said the following in the Quran: "Allah does not want to place you in difficulty, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His favor on you that you may be thankful." (Al-Maidah: 6).

Therefore, performing ablution is an important religious activity for all Muslims during the fasting month of Ramadhan. Through proper intention, it becomes a valuable activity that helps us purify ourselves and increase our spiritual level.

In conclusion, the intention or niat of ablution is an important part of performing ablution during the fasting month of Ramadhan. It helps us purify ourselves before performing our prayers and increases our spiritual level. Let us all remember the right intention before performing ablution and other religious activities during this blessed month.
